Unlock your unique expression with an eyebrow transplant. This procedure may help you reach or recover the aesthetic look you desire. Your eyebrows do a lot more than decorate your face. They are a window into how you feel as they help send non-verbal cues when speaking and listening. People can lose their eyebrows for various reasons, but there is a way to get them back.
What is an Eyebrow Transplant?
Your eyebrows play a vital role in your appearance. Not only do they protect your eyes and accentuate them, but they also allow for expression and highlight your individuality. If you're dissatisfied with the results of drawing or microblading, Pearce Plastic Surgery can help you regain the beauty of your brows. An eyebrow transplant uses hair from the back of your head to restore your eyebrows' overall shape and fullness. Our eyebrow transplant surgery is perfect for Austin, TX patients who want to showcase their face from every angle.
How is an Eyebrow Transplant Performed?
Dr. Pearce performs long-lasting, innovative eyebrow transplant surgeries for both men and women using follicular unit transplantation (FUT) or follicular unit extraction (FUE). This in-office procedure utilizes a mild oral sedative and a local anesthetic for each treatment area. Before surgery, Dr. Pearce closely designs the form and arch of the brows based on your facial features, natural hair growth, and personal goals. The surgical process entails removing hair from the back of your head (permanent donor region) and carefully transplanting them to the eyebrows to mimic the original growth pattern. It takes roughly 100 – 300 hairs per eyebrow to create a symmetrical, dense appearance. The number of grafts needed will depend on the extent of loss on each eyebrow. Many patients achieve great results with only one treatment session, while a few patients will need two transplant sessions to achieve their desired look.
How Long Until I See Results From an Eyebrow Transplant?
After the procedures, the hair transplanted to recreate your eyebrows will go into its sleep cycle. Improvement in the area will be noticeable within 4 – 6 months after the transplant, and your final results will become apparent after 12 months.
Pearce Plastic Surgery Reviews
After a major weight loss and a few uncomfortable consultations, I decided to look outside the San Antonio area to have a tummy tuck and an arm lift. Dr Pearce was my first consultant after expanding my search. When I walked in his office, I was greeted with the biggest smiles. After meeting Dr Pearce, I knew I found my surgeon!! I’m a year post op and feel amazing! Dr Pearce is a perfectionist!! I’ve recommended him to a couple people!
10/10 recommend - I severed a tendon in a kitchen accident and I am on my way to 100% recovery! Excellent care
My appointment was awesome !
I went to Dr. Pearce for a breast augmentation. He is transparent, kind, and funny. Him and his crew made me feel comfortable and welcome considering this was my first time having a procedure like this done. My surgery went smooth and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I recommend him to anyone considering plastic surgery.

How will the Transplanted Eyebrow Hair Grow?
The transplanted hair will grow just like it did on the back of your head. Regular trimming every 1 to 2 weeks is essential to maintain the appropriate length. For more information on eyebrow transplants, schedule a consultation with our practice in Austin, TX.
