What Is Avéli?

Avéli offers an ideal solution for treating cellulite on the thighs and buttocks. With just a single session, Avéli can produce remarkable results. The treatment smooths the affected areas, eliminating cellulite or improving its severity by reducing dimpling.

Cellulite Treatment

We all want smooth skin, yet many women face one major obstacle: cellulite, which can form due to body type, age, hormones, and even genetics. Despite topical creams or consistent diet and exercise, achieving noticeable improvements may not be easily attainable. At Pearce Plastic Surgery, we understand cellulite on your thighs and buttocks can affect your self-image. We proudly offer a safe and effective cellulite treatment with the latest advanced technology, Avéli. To find out if you are a candidate for Avéli, call our office today to schedule a consultation.

Who is a Good Candidate for an Avéli Treatment?

Avéli treatment is recommended for patients with good skin tone and dimpling cellulite. It's important to note that loose skin or fat deposits in the buttocks and thighs can be mistaken for cellulite. If you have loose skin in these areas, combining a skin-tightening procedure with Aveli is advisable for the best results.

How Is Avéli Performed?

Avéli treatments are performed in one of our modern treatment rooms in our Austin, TX office. Depending on the number of dimples, treatment sessions can last anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour. Before the treatment begins, Dr. Pearce will mark the preselected areas and administer a local anesthetic to ensure your comfort. A small circular hole will be created as an entry point for the Avéli device. Although a single skin opening can treat multiple areas, most patients require more than one opening per leg to treat all areas. The Avéli device effectively releases the bands throughout the fat responsible for cellulite, resulting in a more relaxed and smooth appearance of the skin.

What is Recovery From Avéli?

After the Avéli procedure, we recommended that patients refrain from heavy lifting or strenuous activities for 5 – 7 days. During this time, it's normal to experience some swelling and discomfort in the treated area, along with bruising. However, these symptoms should gradually subside within a week. To help reduce swelling, we advise wearing compression leggings for 7 – 14 days following the procedure.

After a major weight loss and a few uncomfortable consultations, I decided to look outside the San Antonio area to have a tummy tuck and an arm lift. Dr Pearce was my first consultant after expanding my search. When I walked in his office, I was greeted with the biggest smiles. After meeting Dr Pearce, I knew I found my surgeon!! I’m a year post op and feel amazing! Dr Pearce is a perfectionist!! I’ve recommended him to a couple people!

I went to Dr. Pearce for a breast augmentation. He is transparent, kind, and funny. Him and his crew made me feel comfortable and welcome considering this was my first time having a procedure like this done. My surgery went smooth and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I recommend him to anyone considering plastic surgery.
