Tummy Tuck Revision*

Patient is in her early 40's and previously had a tummy tuck with another surgeon a number years earlier. She felt that her upper abdomen had always been more full than the lower abdomen and she wanted a revision to help flatten the upper abdomen as well as improve the contours of her waist. Dr Paul Pearce did 360 liposuction along with tummy tuck revision. During the procedure he found that the sutures from the original tummy tuck had pulled through allowing the muscles in the upper abdomen to separate. This in turn was repaired in two layers using multiple sutures to help restore her flatter abdomen. Patient is shown 2 years post op.
